Eternal Marketing Group was privileged to play a pivotal role in managing and promoting the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission’s Juneteenth Celebration and Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on June 19, 2024.

This year’s celebration marked the Commission’s largest to date, with record participation, strong community engagement, and a powerful presence throughout Knoxville.

EMG supported the event through a comprehensive marketing and event management approach. Our work included designing promotional flyers, producing high-visibility signage, and strategically distributing materials across key community locations.

Behind the scenes, our team helped manage vendor coordination, event layout planning, sponsorship outreach, and volunteer coordination. These moving parts were essential to creating a smooth experience for participants, vendors, performers, and attendees.

On the digital side, EMG managed social media promotion to increase awareness, drive engagement, and encourage attendance. We also crafted and distributed press releases to help secure media coverage before and after the event.

During the celebration, EMG provided on-site photography and helped coordinate talent, speakers, and performers to keep the event moving with energy and purpose.

The result was a deeply meaningful day that honored the legacy of Dr. King while celebrating the freedom, resilience, and cultural significance of Juneteenth. The event left lasting memories for the community and helped build momentum for future celebrations.
